Elana Harriman, MSW, LCSW

I studied for my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work at New York University, Silver School of Social Work & Rutgers School of Social Work.

I have been providing individual, couples counseling & autism support since 2009. Areas of specialization include conflict management, social anxiety, stress management, codependence, & depression.

I will help you explore the root causes of your relationship challenges and help you reconcile roadblocks such as trust issues, major life transitions, dealing with a new diagnosis, ending a relationship, difficulty communicating, household responsibilities, coping with each other’s extended family, intimacy, control or needy partners and personality differences.

I work with couples and individuals, focusing on skill building for managing conflict, developing new skills for enhancing relationships and helping people connect to create shared meaning.

I have extensive experience supporting parents of children with autism & developmental differences. I will help parents identify specialists & resources as well as learn new skills to help manage the challenges they face individually, as a couple and family.
